First look at "The Amazing Spider-man 2" costume

So 'The Amazing Spider-Man' facebook page shared a brief look at the 'new' Spider-Man suit for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie which is to be released in 2014. From what I can see in the image, the alterations (especially around the eyes) are made to look more like the comic book. There also seems to be a significant change in colour and texture.

"In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past."

With information about the movie coming out in drips and drabs, we could be getting a teaser of some sort in just a few months time. But that is only a guess

Wow I like it! Much better than the alien looking eyes.

Also it's very similar to Sam Raimi's adaptation.

I love it too! It actually looks like he's out of the animated series! Although his other suit was pretty mad too. I did love the mirror finish to them. But I love how the new costume, the eyes are bigger
